All About Our Studio

Founded in 1999 by Kathy Rowe, Mining City Dance Company is more than a studio, we’re a dance family. For over two decades, we’ve welcomed dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels into an environment built on fun, positivity, and safety. Inclusivity and community are at the heart of everything we do.

We offer both recreational classes for those wanting to explore their passion and competitive programs for dancers seeking to challenge themselves and grow their technique. No matter the path, our dedicated instructors are here to uplift, guide, and celebrate every dancer’s unique journey.

We believe in nurturing the whole dancer, not just their technique, but their confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Our experienced instructors are passionate about building a space where everyone feels encouraged and celebrated. We believe you can be a champion and still remain humble.

We don’t just teach dance, we create memories, build confidence, and grow lifelong friendships. At Mining City Dance Company, you’ll find more than just great classes. You’ll find a home.
